Testagen

Testagen is a bioregulatory tetrapeptide targeting testicular tissue and Leydig cell function through epigenetic modulation of steroidogenic gene expression. Research has explored its capacity to normalize testosterone synthesis signaling by modulating StAR protein expression, support LH receptor sensitivity and downstream cAMP signaling in Leydig cells, maintain Sertoli cell function and blood-testis barrier integrity, promote spermatogenic cell viability and germ cell maturation, and modulate testicular antioxidant enzyme expression to protect against oxidative damage. Studies in aging testicular tissue models have demonstrated restoration of testosterone production rates toward youthful levels and improvement in sperm quality parameters. Testagen's bioregulatory mechanism addresses the epigenetic changes that contribute to age-related androgen decline (andropause), making it a unique tool for studying the molecular biology of testicular aging and the transcriptional programs governing male reproductive endocrine function.
