Crystagen

Crystagen is a bioregulatory tripeptide that targets the immune system, particularly thymus-dependent immune function, through modulation of gene expression in T-lymphocytes and thymic epithelial cells. Research has demonstrated its ability to normalize T-lymphocyte subset ratios (CD4+/CD8+), enhance T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling capacity, support thymic epithelial cell viability and thymopoietic function, modulate cytokine production profiles (increasing IL-2 and IFN-γ while reducing IL-4), and restore age-related decline in naive T-cell output. In immunosenescence models, Crystagen treatment has shown restoration of immune response magnitude to vaccination challenges, improved delayed-type hypersensitivity responses, and enhanced natural killer cell activity. Research applications include studies on immune aging, post-chemotherapy immune reconstitution, chronic infection immune exhaustion, and comparative analysis with other immune-modulating compounds.
