Research overview

Full product description

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4, a 43-amino acid protein that is one of the most abundant intracellular proteins, found in virtually all human and animal cell types with the exception of red blood cells. TB-500 has been the subject of extensive research for its role in upregulating cell-building proteins, most notably actin, a critical component of cytoskeletal structure and cell motility. By promoting the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), TB-500 facilitates nutrient delivery to damaged tissues. Research has shown its capacity to promote keratinocyte and endothelial cell migration, reduce inflammatory cytokine expression, decrease apoptosis in damaged cells, and support extracellular matrix remodeling. In preclinical wound healing models, TB-500 demonstrated accelerated closure rates and improved tissue architecture. Studies in equine and canine models have also shown improvements in tendon and ligament flexibility. Its anti-inflammatory properties extend to cardiac tissue, where it has been studied for its potential to reduce scar formation following myocardial ischemia. TB-500 also shows promise in hair follicle stem cell activation and dermal papilla cell stimulation.
